Students in the Sparta High School Anatomy & Physiology class recently traveled to the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse cadaver lab and the PT/OT program facility.

They spent time working with the human cadavers and organs as well as time learning about PT/OT fields of study and learning different skills that are taught in these programs.

Teacher Britni Walz said “This was an amazing experience for students to see first hand the areas of study we learn in class and it is a great partnership with UW-L and Scenic Rivers AHEC. There are very few high school and even college students that can say they have witnessed human cadavers.”
