Southside Early Learning Center Counseling

My name is Kathryn Everson but I go by Katie.  I am your child's school counselor at Southside Early Learning Center.  I am so happy to be able to be provided the opportunity to work with the younger students within the Sparta Area School District.  The comprehensive school counseling program that the district uses is designed to help students reach their fullest potential in all areas of their life including the social and emotional part along with their academics.

Some of the more common services I provide as the school counselor include classroom guidance lessons, small group counseling, brief solution-focused individual counseling, parent meetings, school tours, and being a connection for helpful community resources.  These services are developmentally appropriate to help students with social skills, self management, personal concerns, and academic success.
