Subject: Phone Lines Down Sept. 29-30
Thank you for all the Spartan Spirit last week! It was very nice to see all the red and gold, along with positivity throughout not only our District, but the entire community. I would encourage us all to keep this positivity rolling throughout the school year and if something needs to be addressed, please let the appropriate person(s) know. As a reminder, SASD does not have school for students on Friday, Sept. 30 as this is a scheduled non school day.
On Thursday, Sept. 29, at approximately 4:00 p.m. our District will be making some changes to our phone system which may cause an interruption in service to all of our buildings. We are not sure how long this will take, but it could be up to 24 hours and include Friday, Sept. 30. I just wanted to make you aware of this, and we chose this day as the 30th is when students are not in school. If you need to contact a school, please try and if you cannot get through, emailing the appropriate staff member directly would be best.
Thanks again for all the support you give to our students, staff, and community! If you have any questions, ideas, thoughts, etc. on how SASD can improve, I would welcome that feedback and I encourage you to let me know what ideas you have.
